Acacia Bay is a community on a small inlet on the western shores of Tapuaeharuru Bay, Lake Taupo in New Zealand. There are four main beach areas. It is located approximately 2 miles west of Taupo.
How to get here – from Taupo Airport
- Depart Anzac Memorial Dr – 0.6 mi
- Turn right onto SH1 – 12.6 mi
- Keep straight onto SH1 for .5 mi / Lake Terrace – 1.9 mi
- At roundabout, take 1st exit – 0.3 mi
- Turn left onto Norman Smith St – 0.5 mi
- Turn left onto Acacia Bay Rd – 2.2 mi
- Turn left onto Scenic Heights Dr – 0.1 mi
- Bear left onto Sylvia Pl< 0.1 mi
- Arrive at 3 Sylvia Pl, Acacia Bay 3330
